Located in an old elementary school, and actually a little hard to find unless you know the area, Old School Cafe does the southern Meat N' Three thing pretty well. While I've never tried any of their sandwiches (they have a few for those who don't wanna eat their veggies), the offerings on the M&3 menu are plentiful, and well done. Service was fine and the sweet tea was plenty sweet (my Georgian wife will attest to that). The prices were a little high, and doesn't accept credit cards - so watch out. A real Meat 'N Three sticking it out in the increasingly corporate-restaurant-filled Spring Hill is worth the extra star.

Fun location. Home style cooking. Food is good but overpriced A Nice option in spring hill

Old School Cafe is still up and running despite what another poster said. Not sure what that's about. It might be hard to find, though, if you're not familiar with the area. It's located in an old brick building.. I also noticed their sign is down, maybe they're updating it? They are also opened for breakfast now.. those hours are from 7am-10am.

The best "meat & 3" in the Station-Hill area will "larn you up good" with its country cookin'. It is located in the old school building hence...er...the name. The room to the left is non-smoking, the room to the right is smoking (and is a little smaller and colder), and the two daily specials (new daily) and various "vegetables" are "writ up" on the old chalkboard, as are the popular desserts, such as peach or blackberry cobbler and the quickly-vanishing chocolate pie. Meat & 2 is around 6 bucks and includes roll or cornbread. Burgers and sandwiches take a little longer but are well worth the wait. After ordering, sip on a huge sweet tea and wander around to take in the array of schoolroom curios. School memorabilia and paraphernalia adorn the cafe walls throughout. Take some time to search through some of these treasures of recent and less recent scholastic history. No need to bring homework, or an apple, but do be sure to bring check or cash, as they have not yet learned of credit cards. Overall I give them an A-!

Best Meat and Three in The Hill, and the only one left I do believe. Cool atmosphere and very friendly staff.

Liked the food. Good southern cookin. And it's rad that it's in a school. But it was VERY mom and pop... Very...
